TNA has been in business for long enough now where they could have an established fan base to tap into and go to when the chips are down. Much like the case was for the WCW, TNA can to the International Markets and draw bigger then they ever would in the states. For the longest time things had seem to have been on the down turn in the company, but I guess they just started trying to make the best out of a bad situation and they are doing that exactly.
The most interesting part of this new is that TNA doesn't seem to be planning tours to the usually areas like Japan or United Kingdom. It seems as though TNA is planning tours to China, India, and Australia which would be a great step for the company in continuing to grow their international market. Right now it seems like the tours to China and India are all but confirmed and it seems like the parties are close to signing the deal for a tour of Australia, but nothing is final yet.
If you are wondering their is no word just yet if TNA plans on running episodes of Impact in these area or is just going to these areas for live event tours. Also it seems like these tours will happen later on this year which could end up allowing 2015 to become a great year for TNA. Finally this is a great business decision by TNA management because they have always drawn well overseas and these tours will be no different. Take a second and imagine the big step it would be for a US Wrestling company to actually air a show from Australia or India or China; that is something that has never been done before and could give TNA some good momentum.
Good Luck TNA!!!!
