Recently, some major reports have been circulating about the future of this brand and there time as a subsidiary of Anthem Sport and Entertainment. However, with the magnitude of this information I felt it was necessary to wait for more information to come out about this situation. It would be a disservice to this story and those involved if I didn't take this story piece by piece and deal with the information little by little. But first things first is dealing with information regarding Jeff Jarrett and his status within GFW.
At first not much was known about his status within the company at first other than the fact that it seemed as though he was removed from his position as head of creative and leader of the company. However, at this point it doesn't seem like there is much more to the story other than the idea that Jeff did have to step away from the company for personal reasons and nothing else. Though Jeff has had his problems in the wrestling business I am fan of Jeff and admire what he has been able to do in this business. With that being said I hope the best for Jeff and that whatever the problems maybe that he can figure things out.
This is one of those reasons that I always try to hold off talking about major stories in particular to allow all of the information to come up. At this point it is unclear what the future does hold for Global Force Wrestling, but what is known is that stories like this don't help the company trying to rebuild their image. I'm not sure what to expect either as when you think the negative stories have stopped just another one finds a way to make some new negative press come out. More to come on this subject!
The one stop shop for all things TNA Wrestling. At first you may not agree, but every now & again you might be surprised.
