This is the first time in a long time that i have actually done a post like this and this will not be the last time as this post will be showing up a lot more. Arn whose real name is Marty Lunde, would debut in 1982 working for various indpendent companies all over the United States. In Arn's early years he would work for various territories including Southeastern Champion Wrestling and Georgia Championship Wrestling. It wasn't until his short lived stint in Mid-South did Arn's career really begin to take off after top Mid-South Wrestling star at the time Junkyard Dog made the connection that Arn looked like an Anderson. Bill Watts who was booker at the time agreed and pulled some strings to get Arn on TV in the Mid-Atlantic region. The rest as they say is history!!

From the year 1984 on till around 1989 Arn Anderson would remain a major player of sorts in the Mid-Atlantic region and one of the men whom you think of when you are talking about WCW wrestlers or Mid-Atlantic wrestlers in general. However, in late 1985 after around a year of teaming with Ole, The Anderson clan would join forces with fellow heels in Ric Flair & Tully Blanchard to form what would called the Four Horsemen (With JJ Dillon as the Manager). The Horsemen would go on to feud with some of the top names of the territory like Magnum TA, Dusty Rhodes, Road Warriors, and others. The Horsemen would have various incarnations over the years with only two members being a part of each "version" of the faction and those two men are Ric Flair & Arn Anderson. In the years that followed Arn would be the leader in many respects of both the NWA/WCW & WWF Tag Team division with various partners including Bobby Eaton, Tully Blanchard, Larry Zbyszko, others; Arn would also become the "flag bearer" of sorts for the Television Championship as anytime it needed a boost in prestige Double A was always there to give it that boost.

After years of wear and tear on his body the "miles" began to catch up to him and he realized it was time to hang it up. In many respects due to a severe injury he was forced to hang it up, but whose keeping track. Arn would remain on with WCW from 1997-2001 in an agent role, which is the same role he would hold with the WWE following the purchase of WCW by WWE in 2001. Arn has actually been an agent in the WWE for the last 14 years and doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Career Highlight & Achievements from Arn Anderson's Career:

One time WWE World Tag Team Champion

Five Time NWA/WCW World Tag Team Champion

Four Time NWA/WCW World Television Champion

One time NWA National Tag Team Champion

WWE Hall of Famer Class of 2012

Competed in the First ever War Games Match
This promo from Arn perfectly depicts the passion that Arn has for the wrestling industry. In his words that his passion still burns bright and that is something you never loss for this business.

I love looking back wrestling's past. I view my job as bring new life to the part of wrestling some people thought was gone.
