A few weeks after the sudden passing of the Ultimate Warrior Oakland A's Outfielder Josh Reddick paid tribute to the Warrior by dressing up like him and doing his entrance for an interview on MLB Network show Intentional Talk. Recently Josh did another great tribute to a legend at the A's game last night. This isn't surprising to hear about because of the fact that Josh is one of the biggest wrestling fans in the sports world.
Yes! That photo on the right side is Josh Reddick dressed up as The Ultimate Warrior from last April as his appearance on MLB Network's TV show. The photo on the left is with Josh in uniform and Roddy Piper. For anyone who might have been living under a rock for the last 24 hours the sudden, and unfortunate news that broke last night was Roddy Piper passed away. This news has turned the wrestling world on it's ear and has made most people be at a lose for words and not knowing what to say or think. Anyone wondering what Reddick did to tribute "Hot Rod" well during last nights game Josh had bagpipes play as his walk-up music for his at bats during the game last night. Which in my book is was a nice tribute to Roddy Piper.
Also speaking on this topic it was noted last night on social media that current UFC Bantamweight Champion Rhonda Rousey will dedicate her match at UFC 190 to the Rowdy One, Roddy Piper. A few years ago Rhonda was actually endorsed by Piper to use the "Rowdy" moniker. So actually tomorrow when Rhonda steps into the Octagon she will dedicate her fight to the "Icon" Roddy Piper. This just shows the influence and the effect that "Hot Rod" had on many people in different walks of life.
Thanks for the Memories "Hot Rod"

I love looking back wrestling's past. I view my job as bring new life to the part of wrestling some people thought was gone.
