A different title then your used to seeing eh? I have only done this type of post one other time on this site, but the last time I did this post I mentioned that this used to be one of my favorite post series as it allows me to mix things up. Especially this time, let me just jump right into things:
It was earlier in the week that I went on the internet and was at a loss for word, darn I say that I was down right shocked when I saw the news. A legend arrested after 30 plus years of silence...... unfair yes, but I do feel that justice has a strange way of being served. A lot of other writers have been fortunate enough to have met Jimmy Snuka in the past, but I had no such luck. Just the though of him being wheel chair ridden at this point and still being arrested by local PD well it turns my stomach to be honest with you. Snuka was diagnosed with stomach cancer a few months ago and various reports have said he was wheel chair bound when arrested.
Look I know some of you maybe looking around for someone to believe and questioning what is going on with this situation, so let me take a second and say somethings:
- Jimmy is 72 years of age and got arrested for an unsolved crime that happened 32 years ago in the state of New Jersey I do believe.
- His trial is set to begin before the end of the month in the state of Jersey
- The gap maybe to far to have an accurate account of the events that took place on that day in question over 30 years ago.
With all the sites out there reporting facts and what happened, this post isn't what you have come to expect from writers talking about this situation. You remember the ones that aren't like the others, rather then the ones that are all the same. Some may question my stance on this situation and that's more then fine, but let quell the talk and say no matter what happens this will always be how I view Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka:
God Bless "Superfly"
You'll Always Be A Legend
Nobody Can Take that Away
I love looking back wrestling's past. I view my job as bring new life to the part of wrestling some people thought was gone.
