Though this story will not receive that much or really probably not any attention, even though in my opinion it should, because of all that Danny has given pro-wrestling in his career. For the last 22 years "Nightmare" Danny Davis has owned and operated Ohio Valley Wrestling and has decided that now is the time to step away. Danny began his wrestling career in the 1970's as a part of the old Memphis territory and he made his name as one half of the tag team the Nightmares with partner Ken Wayne.

However, in recent years Danny has become known as one of the best trainers in wrestling and the man behind the magic of OVW. Since 1993 Danny Davis has trained and helped establish over 150 wrestlers within the ranks of the wrestling and just a few like, John Cena, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Rob Conway, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, and many more. Over the course of the last 22 years Ohio Valley Wrestling has been home to both a WWE & TNA developmental on separate occasions. In reality OVW is unlike any other company in world, because no one wrestling company in the world has helped more talent fulfill their dreams and eventually achieve success in wrestling than Danny and OVW.

So after 30 plus years both as an active wrestler and one of the most successful trainers in wrestling Danny Davis walks away from the Wrestling business. However, OVW's legacy will continue as Danny has found someone he believes is worth carrying on his companies legacy. Thank you Mr. Danny Davis for all you have done for the wrestling industry and the fact that without you some of biggest names in wrestling many not exist right now. You have earned this opportunity to ride off into the sunset take advantage of walking away on your terms, because after all of you done for the wrestling business you deserve this.
