Two weeks a horrible tragedy struck the wrestling business at an event in Mexico, where a member of the pro-wrestling family was unfortunately and tragically taken from us far too soon while in the ring. Now I am aware that some might say this is the past and I shouldn't be writing about it anymore, but when I saw the Lucha Underground video embedded below, I knew I had to share it.
The words that are spoken in this video display the real emotion and give a real perspective on the effect one person can have on everyone around them. The emotions this video drags out of you cannot be put into words because to try and do that would be impossible. I will not lie to you guys when I sat and watch the video, I cried and though I would be lying if I told you that I was a fan of Mexican wrestling, I am not lying when I say I love the business and have tremendous respect for everyone who risks their lives in that ring no matter if I am a fan of their particular genre of wrestling.
Thank you the sacrifices that you make for us fans and Thank you for giving your all every single night you’re in that ring to make sure we have the best show possible. The hardest thing about being a fan of pro-wrestling and loving this business the way a lot of us do is having to say goodbye to so many of your favorites too soon. Thank You Perro: You are Tremendously Missed, Amazingly Respect, and as the tears roll down my face I will that I hope you are tearing down the house up in Heaven!! Thank You For All You Did for The Wrestling Industry and Rest in Peace.
