Match of the Week: Harley Race vs Terry Funk

Anyone who knows me or anything about this site I have in the past attempted on various occasion to come up with various ideas to try and raise the interest and attention to certain sections of the site. It is difficult though at this point, because a number of series are more start and stop rather than never ending and at this point I would prefer just piecing together some interesting articles when a section needs some love rather than creating series that really go nowhere. 

Over the course of wrestling history few people truly can defy a generation, but Terry Funk & Harley Race have done exactly that in one way or another. Funk likely holds the record for the most retirements in the history of wrestling and the fact that Harley Race still has a hand in training the future stars in wrestling. Looking back it is interesting to see how young both Terry Funk & Harley Race are in this match and I will even go as far to say that this is during both men's primes and that's not just based on the fact that both men had held the NWA Worlds Title around this time, but I feel like this match is one of those legendary matches. It is worth a watch in my opinion even if it's jsut for a trip down memory lane.
