The Territory Series: The Build Begins

A few weeks ago I laid the ground work for a series starting on this section where we go back to the old days and revisit the territories. It is really a tough choice to find the right place to start so I will just start with them all as a slowly weed out the right one to select. For those of you that might not know a lot about the territories at one point the entire country was carved up like a turkey. Each promotion had it's own set area that they were allowed to run and wouldn't go elsewhere. 

For example the WWF would only run events within the tri-state specifically their territory was Maine to Maryland. Looking further south would become Jim Crockett's territory and west was either Georgia Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Association, or unowned depending on the year.
