Any wrestling fan knows the significance of this PPV event from the height of the "Attitude Era." In my opinion, this is one of those nights that left a lasting impact on the world of wrestling because it left us asking what could've been had something gone differently. Early on it was just like any PPV but following the Hardcore title match the show was suppose to move onto the Intercontinental Title defense for The Godfather against The Blue Blazer. It has been twenty years since this event took place & the sting is just as bad as it was the day that it happened. I was too young at the time for it to really sink for me this day twenty years we lost one of the greatest to ever lace a pair of boots. In my opinion, Owen Hart could've been World Champion & a damn great trainer to teach the stars of the future how to tell really work in that ring. I will not be getting into the great debate over if they should've stopped the show or kept it going, because in reality there is no right answer in that regard. Either way though Owen was is and will always be an "Icon" among the greatest sellers and most charismatic talent in the world of wrestling. I can talk about how much untapped potential Owen had even going into his mid-30's, but his future was no doubt in heading to the family Dungeon and continuing to train the future of wrestling. I can't how much talent his trainees would posse knowing how gifted he was and how missed Owen is to this day. We still miss you Owen and will never ever forget you!!! Over The Edge 99

As always wrestling gives us both great memories and memories we try and forget, but with the amount of moments worth remembering that have happened we are bound to forget some. The same could be said about some talent that were very much underrated during their career or never at the top of a company during a run this unfortunately makes it easier for fans to forget certain talent. These two are very different talent and had two very different careers while they worked in this great business. Also sometimes we encounter those that deserve to be remembered and acknowledged. I would like to wish a very big Happy Birthday to all who are celebrating their special day today and especially to the one featured below.
