Since 2009 one man has become the face of the company in Ring of Honor and the first man to hold the ROH World Title on three separate occasions. Adam Cole was brought into ROH as an unknown up and comer and slowly made his way up the card at a time when ROH was starving for new talent. This wasn't the normal push for a talent as this was more or less an old school push as he began in a Tag Team with Kyle O' Reilly collectively known as the Future Shock.
After three years or so Adam and Kyle went their separate ways as a team and became singles stars for the company. In the fall of 2013, Adam Cole made it to the finals of the World Title tournament and actually won the title for the first time and this would begin his ascension to become the "Face of ROH." Over the next four years, Adam would become the biggest star not in the WWE and the "Face of ROH." Now it isn't official that Adam will be heading to the WWE at this point as he has yet to sign with the company, even though most "insiders" believe he will head there eventually. But at this point with his ROH contract officially finished he is still on the radar of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. At this point it is tough to know for sure where Cole ends up in the future, but what I do know is that it will definitely be interesting to watch.
