With the Anniversary set to take place this weekend in Las Vegas this will be the last time we countdown and look back at one of the many great moments in ROH history. In many ways the reason why ROH was able to get the attention of the wrestling world is because they were putting out a unique product that fans couldn't find anywhere else. This included visits from various international and not just talent from Japan, but also from the UK and Mexico.
One of these talents who visited ROH was the legend himself Kenta Kobashi. If you have never heard of Kenta then I would probably compare him to being a step above where Okada is today. Not to be confused with the current Hideo Itami in NXT the original Kenta made a tremendous legacy for himself in the wrestling business by having numerous classics with other legends like Tsruta, Misawa, Kawada and others. The pop that Kenta gets from the ROH crowd should tell you not just how rare it was for him to be in the states, but also how excited these people where to see Joe vs Kenta.
