Though at this point it may not be as big news as it was when it first reached the waves of the IWC, but apparently former ROH Top Prospect Tournament Champion Lio Rush is leaving ROH. The last big splash the youngster made in the company was a part of the 6 man tag team championship tournament where his team made it to the finals losing to the eventual winners The Kingdom. Even at the ripe age of 22 years old this kid has been making waves in the wrestling world in companies from ROH to CZW to Evolve.
Speaking of Evolve, that seems to be where the youngster will be heading as he will be a part of Evolves WrestleMania weekend events. As of this writing I am not sure if he appeared on Evolve 80, but I am almost 100% sure that he was at least backstage at the event. In my opinion Lio is one of the many reasons that ROH will always be a step ahead of other companies, because they always seem to be able to find the youngsters like Lio from nowhere. Though the draw of a WWE contract will always be hanging over ROH talents head this company also still shows that loyalty exists even in a period of the bottom line being a number one.
