Over the last few weeks a lot has happened in the world outside of the WWE; especially in Ring of Honor. Fact is that this past weekend ROH celebrated their 15 year anniversary which is an incredible accomplishment that everyone who has had a hand in keeping that company alive should be very proud of this accomplishment. I should mention that I will not be speaking the Matt Hardy issues and how it effected ROH for that you must consult your local dirt sheet.
The one part I will speak of is the main event and that the "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels aka the only founding father of Ring of Honor to never hold the World Title has defeated Adam Cole and is the current ROH World Title. Daniels has always been someone that has gotten better with age and also someone who has deserved the opportunity to be World Champion and there is no better place for him to accomplish such a thing then in the company he helped build. See when ROH first started Chris moved into the Tag Team division with Donovan Morgan to challenge AJ Styles and Red for the titles. For most of Daniels first run he was in a tag team and then he came back a few years later, but didn't stay long enough to really catch on. But it was his team with Kazarian that really allowed Chris to enter the prime of his career and finally catch on. Congratulations to a very deserving ROH Legend in the new ROH World Champion "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels.
