After rumors began to spread that numerous top talents in Ring of Honor would be heading to the WWE once their contracts expire. However, as of this writing it has been reported that the WWE has been telling talents that are leaving contracts with other promotions that they will not talk enter into discussions with them for at least 90 days.
The reason for this is because ROH got WWE to back off of several deals/contract offers by threatening them with tampering charges. The deals in play were for talents like Donovan Dijak, Ray Rowe, Kyle O' Reilly, and Bobby Fish. For years WWE has had eyes on top stars from all over the independent circuit, but a lot of the stars on their radar have normally ended up staying were they were. Recently, with the WWE wanting to help bring depth back to NXT and the main roster as well there have been a lot of rumors floating around top Ring of Honor talent. Talent like Adam Cole, and Kyle O' Reilly have seemingly been on top of the WWE "wish list" but no moves have been made on the part of WWE just yet. At this point though Adam's contract has expired with Ring of Honor so it's anyone's guess where the former three time ROH World Champion will end up.
