"Reach for the sky boys!!!!" The only word that can be used to describe these two is Legend. Because it doesn't matter how long the company has been around as "Dem Boys" have been around since the very first day. Both Mark and Jay competed in the ring within the first year of ROH's existence and if my memory serves me correctly Mark competed on the very first Ring of Honor show in February of 2002.
At this point there isn't much that The Briscoes haven't done in an ROH ring as they hold the record for the most reigns as Tag Team champions with 8 different reigns as the Tag Team Champions. Also both men have had singles success with Jay being only one of two people to hold the ROH World title on two occasion (the other being Austin Aries) and Mark is a former ROH Television champion. If you need a little more proof who could be considered the better of the two well their was a time when Jay was undefeated for over a year in the company so that should tell you how much the company believes in them. In my book loyalty should be considered invaluable in the pro-wrestling business because it is very easy a wrestler just get up and leave either because he doesn't like how he is being booked or because of getting a better offer by another company. The Briscoes have been loyal to Ring of Honor since day one and think they will remain with ROH for the remainder of their active wrestling careers. One thing I know for sure is that if ROH does in fact chose to make an ROH Hall of Fame the first inductees in my book should be a Tag team, because if not them then you need to..... Man Up!!!
