It feels like the last time I was with this set up I was writing about another top ROH star leaving the company, but that case was a little different because we knew for almost certain that Mike Bennett was headed to TNA at the outset of 2016 and that's what happened. But now two more top names look to be possibly heading for the door very soon.
Actually as of this writing Roderick Strong fought his last match Saturday night against Dalton Castle and is now officially finished with Ring of Honor Wrestling after having an incredibly long stint with the company and truly embodying the nickname "Mr. ROH." Over the course of his career from his time in Generation Next to his time with the House of Truth to his time as Mr. ROH, Roddy has done it all in Ring of Honor but much like Samoa Joe or Bobby Roode or Eric Young in TNA their comes a time when moving on isn't a bad thing. Roderick walks away being a triple crown champion in ROH as he is a former Tag team, Television, and World Champion and has become a name that is tied to the Ring of Honor brand. But now it's time for Roddy to move on and see what else he can accomplish in the crazy mixed up world of pro-wrestling.
The other person unlike Roddy isn't a certainty to leave the company once his contract comes due at the end of August, but right numerous people believe it to be the case and all sign point to the latter as well. As of this writing it seems likely that Moose may be leaving ROH once his contract expires at the end of August. Heavy rumors have plagued the up and comer as he was backstage at the recent NXT Takeover Special and rumors have also pointed to him as someone who maybe a part of the next performance center class for WWE. All I have to say about that is if he does in fact go to NXT then that would be a great pick-up for WWE and just another reason to love NXT. Right now there is more to the story and I will shoot you an update on this once more information is known.
