Over the course of the last year that company in Nashville has been losing talent left and right and now has the weakest roster they have had in years. However, TNA's loss is ROH's gain and this proves that logic extremely true. After around 3 - 4 years with TNA wrestling, Austin Aries has finally become a free agent and looks to be headed home back to Ring of Honor. Up until Jay Briscoe defeated Michael Elgin for the ROH World Championship last year to become a two time World Champion Austin Aries was the only two time ROH World Champion.
Basically coming from out of nowhere as his contract status wasn't really made aware until a few weeks before his contract was actually up. With this being the case ROH never was able to come with anything for him to comeback into the company full time. Also bearing in mind that ROH actually has everything planned out feud wise up until Final Battle in December, though the plans can change it is unlikely. So this likely means at least for the time being it seems as though Austin's appearance will be just a one off appearance for the company.
On July 17, ROH will be making a return to "Sin City" Las Vegas, NV and will be live from the Sam's Club Hotel & Casino. This right now will be Austin Aries's return and one time appearance for the company. However, this doesn't mean that Austin will not ever return to the company it just means that a return this year for him to ROH is unlikely due to all or most top feuds already worked out until post Final Battle.
