ROH Anniversary Hype: Moments of Honor 1

2/9/2015

Every year in the month of Febrary ROH holds the events that symbolizes another year as a company amply titled this year Anniversary 13. This show will celebrate 13 years as a company for Ring of Honor and most likely going into the show ROH will be looking back at some great moments from the companies past. As far I know I am going to be doing it first though because that's what this about, looking back at the past 13 years of ROH and picking out our favorite memories.

I know off the top of my head there is no better place to start the trip back in time then looking back at the first ever Ring of Honor show from Febrary 2002. This was the opening video for the DVD:

After 13 years ROH has seen it's share of talent come and go like Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan Featured Above), Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Jimmy Rave, Jim Cornette, Alex Shelley, KENTA (Hideo Itami), Claudio Castagnoli (Cesaro), Chris Hero, El Generico (Sami Zayn), Kevin Steen (Kevin Owens), The Wolves, and many more. Point is talent is not a lost art in Ring of Honor and it has been a huge part of the company for the 13 years and continues to be a huge part. Since we are talking about people who left I have to mention Mark & Jay Briscoe have been with the company siince the begining of the company. I know that a lot of people would say none of these talents were anything, but Indy no names or Internet darlings before their respected companies made them stars but ROH has also been home to households like these two Stars featured in the match below from ROH's fist event:
