It has been a few weeks since Part 1, but that was only because I was trying to figure out what to do for part 2 so I took time to think and I think I figured it out. Though over the last few years TNA and WCW have draw comparisons between each other, yet they couldn't be more different in the reality of things. Below is one big comparisons I made between the two companies:
Parent Company vs Parent Company: Both companies were/are owned by a Parent company it doesn't matter if it's Panda Energy or Turner Broadcasting both companies aren't their own entity. However, they couldn't be more different in their feeling of wrestling Turner's company never wanted wrestling, and the only reason why it stayed around for as long as it did was because of Ted Turner and the power of loyalty. On the other hand you have TNA which is owned by Panda Energy aka The Carter Family, and from the word go when they made the investment they showed that the want wrestling. The word belief is tossed around a lot, but there is no doubt in my mind that The Carter's no matter lacking they are in the knowledge department of how to run a wrestling company they do believe in Wrestling, where AOL Time Warner never did.
There is no doubt in my mind that the above comparison is the reason why WCW is out of business and so long as the Carter's continue to believe in wrestling TNA will not go anywhere. Those who believe WCW and TNA are the same well they couldn't be more different not just in name, but also in the fact that TNA actually has people who believe in it aka something WCW never had. Thank You Dixie for believing in not just TNA, but also in Pro-Wrestling!!
Stayed Tuned for Part 3!!
