This Day in Wrestling History: 7/15/207/15/2020 As always wrestling gives us both great memories and memories we try and forget, but with the amount of moments worth remembering that have happened we are bound to forget some. The same could be said about some talent that were very much underrated during their career or never at the top of a company during a run this unfortunately makes it easier for fans to forget certain talent. These two are very different talent and had two very different careers while they worked in this great business. Sometimes we encounter those that deserve to be remembered and acknowledged. I would like to wish a very big Happy Birthday to all who are celebrating their special day today and especially to the one featured below. Nerd Note: An easy note is that Mil Mascaras is the uncle of Alberto Del Rio and the brother to Mexican wrestling legend Dos Caras.

Nerd Note: For those who don't know Wahoo McDaniel spent eight years as a pro football player spending time with the Houston Oilers, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, and Miami Dolphins. After the 1968 season Wahoo would decide to call it a career.

Nerd Note: Magnum TA started hitting his stride at a time when the National Wrestling Alliance really needed a fresh name on top. Unfortunately Magnum would be involved in a motorcycle wreck and his career would be cut short right when his potential was finding some stable ground.

Earlier this week the Road Warriors were the subject of the most recent edition of Dark of the Ring and I thought it was fitting to find a match of there's worth sharing. Instead of looking later in their careers to find one that highlights them when things started heading south I chose a match from the height of the Road Warriors. Both Animal and Hawk debuted in the 1980's and within three years were among the biggest stars in wrestling. These two were and still are unlike most anything or anyone who has spent foot in the ring ever since. This week's Dark Side of the Ring took a look at the Road Warriors life and career as a tag team they also spent time talking about the issues that trouble Road Warrior Hawk for most of his in ring career. I have said it before and will again Dark Side of the Ring is the best wrestling documentary out there today. Though some might have been a miss not everyone can hit a home run every time they take a swing. However, the season finale which takes place on Tuesday, May 19, will end things on a high note, because Owen Hart is where our season ends!!
