Who's Writing This: Part 32/26/2015 I have had plenty of people who find out I like wrestling ask “why exactly do you like a fake sport” or “how can you like a fake sport.” Well to those people who have no backup to support that and are just trying to stunt the passion we feel for the pro-wrestling business by saying those words; all I have to say is I am sorry, I am sorry that your life is that bad that you have to try and make someone feel bad enough about themselves that they question why they love something that has been a huge part of their life for over a decade or in some cases even longer. Now I know some may say that wrestling is fake, but those I say do you go to the movies and just keep saying it’s all fake or do you sit back relax and enjoy wrestling is the same way. Both of these genres of entertainment are all about the idea of the suspension of disbelief and if someone can accept it for the movies, but can’t for pro-wrestling that means they aren’t designed to like pro-wrestling.
The other part of this section is that though being a wrestling fan may carry somewhat of a stigma I don’t care; because I am proud of the fact that I am a wrestling fan. The best part was all about things that I know about the wrestling business, things I would like to learn or events I have been there watching. Now it’s time for to share so here is a little fact that not many people know, but I tend to always share to get my point across to people and that you know when people tell you their earliest childhood memory it’s usually something family related or watching a kiddy show on TV like Sesame Street or Mr. Rogers. The earliest memory of my childhood, I can remember is sitting in my living room with my family watching WCW Road Wild 1998 while it was raining outside. With that memory I can tell people that have been a proud fan of this sport for the last 16 years and nothing will change that.
