At this point the series is drawing to a close with only two questions left. But that doesn't mean this series will end as it will be back next year around the same time as you saw it this year. Much like I said in the last part of this post this series isn't designed to be about me and reading about what I have to say as that is what all of the posts I put up are about. This post series is about my Twitter followers and what they have to say so let me quit rambling and get to what they have to say:
Question 5: Do you think wrestling is on the brink of another golden age, due to an influx of companies on National TV or do you think it's just luck? Freddy: Wrestling the POTENTIAL to be on the brink of a golden age with all the new companies on TV, but several things need to happen- HHH needs to take over all of WWE, whether it’s ROH, Lucha, TNA or a new promotion, someone needs to infuse a lot of cash in the business to compete with WWE or they will NEVER change- they will continue to push their agenda against what the fans truly want and employ a bunch of TV writers that couldn’t tell a wristlock from a wrist watch- potential yes, but someone has to infuse a lot of cash in to a competitor for Vince. Christelle: It should give the public what it wants.if this is not the case,a federation of wrestle, it could disappear. The WWE is very strong for. but federations like lucha underground make their small way YourWrestlingWorld: I would love to see another golden age but I'm just not sure fans are interested enough in watching all the shows that are on TV. Kayla: I think so because, again, with all these choices on TV and the internet, people have more choices to watch whatever they want. Bryan: I mean it could be if the companies put on a compelling product and entertain the viewers and don’t insult the intelligence of the viewers like WWE and TNA do then maybe Wrestling can see a golden age. Bill: I think it "could" be on the brink, but it all comes down to the product, and how good it is, and how well it's presented. Right now of everything out there, IMO, ROH has the best "product" right now. For more from those mentioned above: Feel free to give them a follow on Twitter http://yourwrestlingworld.weebly.com/
