Another week has come to an end and this means we move forward to the start of a new week.
If this week's Smackdown is any indication it seems like we have found our first challenger for the Universal Champion. For those who have been living under a rock Braun Strowman dominated Goldberg at Wrestlemania last week to win the Universal Championship. Bray Wyatt rewrote history and got his win back against John Cena at Wrestlemania and now it's time for him to do it again. Back in February Wyatt lost the Universal Championship to Goldberg in a controversial contest in Saudi Arabia. But with more repair done to his character at the hand of John Cena. Now back at the type of his game Bray Wyatt is set to challenge Braun for the gold. With this current situation it is unclear when the upcoming match will take place, but it is a real question if Bray will take the belt back. According to various articles All Elite Wrestling has decided to take a brief hiatus or go dark for the foreseeable future due to the health crisis going on in America. Recently, AEW had tapped episodes of Dynamite and Dark from QT Marshall's gym in Georgia and have enough programming in the can to last them for about a month. In my opinion, this is what WWE should've done to allow for talent to rest and for the office to plan ahead. Apparently though it seems like WWE's TV deals limit the amount of taped footage they can do over the course of a year. I'm glad that TNT didn't place such limitations on AEW and their deal, because it will allow stars of AEW to rest up and come back in 100% after the hiatus.
