One of the only companies that I didn't put up an update about this week was Ring of Honor so here we get an update from Ring of Honor and Kevin Eck. "There are no Ring of Honor live events scheduled until June due to COVID-19, but there’s a plethora of great ROH content available now and coming in the near future to help fill the void."
"Beginning with this weekend’s episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling,” the weekly television program will spotlight a specific wrestler or tag team. First up, it’s time to man up, as Jay and Mark Briscoe are the featured stars." For the full article visit here!!
The main focus for this past week was the shocking surprise of WWE terminating an alarmingly high number of wrestlers and staff. In some cases it was a number of stars that had been under contract for a few years with WWE which came as a major surprise, but also seeing some talent on the list wasn't a surprise. Rumors had been around for a few months now that Rusev would be following The Revival out the door when his contract expires. The questionable decision making comes to the forefront for WWE with them deciding to release some stars they had only resigned last year to new contracts. Right now WWE has a lot of work to do to rehab their image after current events and show that this was the right time to make certain decisions.
