The countdown clock for Wrestlemania has already begun and with the show on the first Sunday of April this year that gives guys like me even more time to speculate and talk about what matches may or may not be featured on the card this year. Since this is the first time I am doing this I will keep things simple and pick one match we know will be happening but hasn't been announced yet and another that might happen or could happen. One of the various matches that at this point is almost confirmed is the third match in the Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar feud. The feud that kicked off around the Royal Rumble almost 13 years ago continuing now over a decade later with the feud culminating in a Wrestlemania match to end it all. Back at Survivor Series 2015 Goldberg return for his first match in 12 years and downright destroyed Brock Lesnar in less than two minutes shocking the world and cracking two of Brock's ribs. Now they are on a collision course to face one more time at Wrestlemania. A match that hasn't even been rumored as of yet but one I think we could see and I would like to see is a multi-man match of some kind for the United States Championship. The reason I would like to see is because it would mix things up from what we have seen in recent years with the IC Title in a multi-man match. Also this isn't a shot at Roman Reigns but instead at WWE creative for their poor booking in recent months with the United States title. The point of a multi person match would allow a variety of possibilities for the finish and feuds following the match. Who should be in the match well? Six Man Match for the United States title:

The slogan for this year's Royal Rumble PPV has been "Remember the Rumble" which is suppose to play into the fact that this is the 30th annual Rumble event. This slogan allows us to give the spotlight to the past Royal Rumble events on the Road to the Alamodome in ten days for the PPV. On the 29 of January the next Rumble will be held and history will be made once again as the Main Event of Wrestlemania will be decided. I wasn't going to do anything to hype up the event like I will likely do for Wrestlemania or like I did for Summerslam last year. But then I looked and I saw that in my opinion the greatest Royal Rumble event history took place today 24 years ago today. That event was the 1992 Royal Rumble and one of the many reasons that this event is so historically important is because it was the first Royal Rumble held for the WWE Title and before last year it was the only Rumble match where the title was on the line. So now open the door to the Time Machine and go back to 1992 and look at how much talent was in the Rumble and were looking to become WWF World Champion: It's that time of year when the rumors of Wrestlemania begin but before the season officially begins we need to hit the Royal Rumble first and that means we have plenty of room for some predictions. This means that I will be splitting the predictions in half and predicting the entire first and then take care of the Royal Rumble match as a whole. Royal Rumble 2017
