Last Monday Night on Raw the biggest indication of the lack of faith that the WWE has in the Divas Division was shown when the divas match only went thirty seconds. Whether it is either the in-ring skills or just that they might think the divas can't draw money and that's why they don't invest the time. However, the #GiveDivasChanceMovement took on new life when it was the top trend on Twitter worldwide for almost a full day.
Who Took Notice?
Well when things get in the public eye there is nothing telling whose attention or how much attention a particular topic will get. In this case numerous fans & Divas a like tweeted and re-tweeted a tremendous number of tweets having to do with this movement.
In my opinion the fact that Rolling Stone Magazine thought highly enough of this movement to write an article about it says something about how many people were very dissatisfied with the Divas match on last weeks Raw. The article was entitled "NXT, Where Women Work" that is quite a name and also quite a true statement which in reality is a sad fact. Down in NXT the divas get more time and are given the opportunity to show what they can do in the ring which is something the divas have never really had in the WWE. But that is when in my opinion divas who work in NXT may not want to come up to the Main Roster knowing that they will have more of a chance to be taken seriously if they stay at NXT. Now for a little excerpt from the article: "This week, following a shockingly short Divas match – even by WWE standards – on Raw, #GiveDivasAChance began trending on Twitter. On Wednesday night, NXT showed once again why that hashtag would never be directed at its show."

As Monday Night Raw approaches once again and we once more look with an open mind and both hands on the keyboard we ponder will WWE give the Divas more time to be taken seriously. Did the movement have any sort of an effect on WWE's opinion of the Divas division? Fact is the Rolling Stone article brought up two points one was in the video with Nikki & Brie talking about, if The Bella's were in NXT they wouldn't want to come up and point two was Character development. Making a long story short the article states the NXT divas are given time for character development to play an effect in the match which is something not usually seen on the Main Roster. Only people who are given a good amount of are the upper-card to Main Event level guys. I am not saying let's give the divas 15-20 minutes out of the gate, but I mean it's 3 hour block of Raw and you can only find 2 minutes of the show for the Divas, Really!! Over the course of a three hour show only 2 minutes, which included entrances and a 30 Second match and that is all you can give the Divas. Either WWE management doesn't have faith in the Divas or they just don't care about the Main roster Divas division. In closing, I believe that WWE needs to fix this issue before it gets worse, or happens again, because though the old saying is "No publicity is bad publicity" well during WrestleMania season there is such thing as bad publicity. Please WWE take the time, change the direction and begin to fix what could be a very competitive and special divas division if given the chance.
#GiveDivasAChance I know your not really listening, might hearing us but I don't think your listening.
