PPV Predictions: Battleground 2015

WWE Battleground 2015

Pre-Show:
The Name King is On the Line
King Barrett vs R-Truth (King What's Up)
This match isn't going to be anything special because it doesn't need as it is on the pre-show. However, I will say that I'm not sure how many fans actually are into this feud so it's probably be a good idea to end the feud here. I firmly believe if the WWE wants the King of The Ring tournament to retain any credibility that it might still have left then King Barrett needs the win tonight no doubt about it.

Sheamus vs Randy Orton
For some reason WWE likes feuds that the fans are tired of seeing and this is one of them. Much like, the pre-show match I don't know how many fans are actually into this match or really care about this feud in general. Though I don't believe Sheamus is entertaining enough to be featured on the top of the card, someone in WWE thinks he deserves another chance. With this being the case I think it's time Sheamus gets one over on Randy as it seems like Orton is the one who has been getting the last laugh for weeks, so Sheamus needs the win here.

WWE World Tag Team Title Match:
The New Day vs (c) Prime Time Players
The quality of the tag team division matches has rose tremendously over the last few months and I think this match will be no different. In my opinion I think the New Day has become one of the best things that the WWE has done in a long time and I believe they could carry the tag team division. However, they are losing to many times to the champions and may lose the ability to be seen as credible threats for the gold. The Prime Time Players on the other hand they have been paying their dues for years and deserved to win the tag titles as nobody expected them to, but I don't believe they are the long term solution for the Tag team division. I think New Day wins and regain the Tag Team titles.

Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns
This feud started off intriguing and actually somewhat interesting, but now has moved to questionable and just strange. I really am unsure these two have a legitimate reason to be feuding, but at least they are both getting TV time and are competing on the PPV. With everything that both men have done in the last year in mind one guy in the match can take the loss while the other can't afford another big match loss. If you guessed Bray Wyatt then your were right as I believe a loss here tonight would make Bray another missed opportunity on the part of WWE and he would mean nothing anymore. Roman on the other can take the loss and in turn should be the one who gets beat to possibly change the idea that he is John Cena II. Therefore Bray Wyatt wins tonight in a less then clean fashion and we see a rematch at Summerslam.

WWE United States Title Match:
(c) John Cena vs Kevin Owens
This will be the third meeting between these two men and it will be the tie-breaker as each man has one win in the feud. The first two matches of the feud have been great and just prove how good of an in-ring year that John Cena is having in 2015. However, everyone has asked one question since won the US title at WrestleMania who could beat John for the title. I think we have our answer as he did it in his first ever match in the WWE, & why can't he do it again. Kevin Owens wins to become the new United States Champion.

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match:
(c) Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman
Much like I expect the US Title match being the highlight of the show I also believe that this match will either be better the US Title match or at least a close second. This match has been building since late March/April when Seth stole the WWE title away from Brock Lesnar. For the first time in a long time it actually took 5 months for two opponents in a feud to get in the ring together for the first time. This will be the first time Brock & Seth are one on one against each other and this has the makings of a great match. But I do believe that we wont see a title change and that is because this match will end via DQ or Count-Out after a legend returns to distract Brock Lesnar to cost him his match.
