Randy Orton Update

At this point it is common knowledge that the WWE is giving us a big match at Summerslam this year and it will involve the return of a veteran who has been gone for a very long time. The injury bug has been very rough for the WWE over the last couple of years. Though the rough side of the injuries may have hit the Tag division the toughest as it took out the depth in the division that had grown. But to think that Randy Orton has missed more time over the last two years than he has been on TV.

Even though the "Viper" had been a fixture of the WWE TV for the last decade, but I guess the best way to describe it is that the miles he has put on his body over the years and his age is finally catching up with him. As of this writing it has been said that Randy will be back at the Performance Center at some point this month to work out the ring rust and make sure that he's good to comeback to the ring again.

I will be totally honest that not only did I do this match first, but I do believe that as long as Randy is 100% then he and Brock will have one of the better matches that Brock has had in a while in my book. I am very excited for this match as this could be Randy's return to the ring. I do think that the WWE may have painted themselves in a corner with Brock winning his fight at UFC 200 as now it wouldn't be best for business if Brock was to come up short against Randy at Summerslam.
