They made a huge deal about the three divas coming up from NXT and that was supposed to be the start of some sort of Revolution. Well it takes a lot more than that, it seems more like the WWE more so promoted those women to appease the fans and see if that would shut them up. Look I know that previous sentence is going to bother at least someone who is reading this and if it does, then at least give me a chance to explain myself.
It was almost two months ago in mid-July when the NXT divas made their way to the Main roster and supposedly changed the face of the WWE women's division. But nothing really changed and the direction of the division just reeked of something that was lacking direction and was something that management had NO Faith in. You’re thinking how management could have no faith in the division if they promoted the NXT women aren't you. Well just because they promoted the women means nothing if the direction and I guess "push" for the division didn't change. If how certain upper management member’s opinion of said division didn't change, then no matter who you promote it will still be the same division.
For weeks following the promotion of the three NXT women we saw a lot more of the women on TV, but we also saw a lot more of multi women matches on TV as a way to use more than less. The fact is how do you expect the divas to get over with the fans that have never seen them if you don't give them one on one matches. Sasha, Becky, and Charlotte weren't the measuring stick of the division in NXT, because of their talents in Tag team wrestling and if you saw NXT Takeover: Brooklyn you would Sasha is more skilled than some of the men. Fact is, nothing has changed, they can call it a "revolution" all they want, but until they actually give the divas a fair chance, and I don't mean a ***** Beat the Clock challenge; which by the way once again reeks of desperation as a way to distract the fans and keep Nikki the champion. Since the promotion of Becky, Charlotte, and Sasha, I am almost 100% sure Nikki hasn't defend the Divas Title once which is a crock of shit. The Beat the Clock challenge could have happened a month ago, before Summerslam and the divas title match could have happened at Summerslam and not a month later.
Anyone who believes thing have changed is delusional, I don't care if I am insulting you that's fine; because you just don't want to admit the truth. For 2 months WWE has lied to you and distracted from the fact that they are doing everything in their power to stay in the past and NOT!! Move to the Future. If you think that this was a rant about Nikki beating AJ's record as champion then you totally missed the point of this post, because until this point I had not mentioned AJ at all. I think the best comparison I can make is that "Team Bella" is like Hogan, Nash & Flair in WCW in that they knew when there was up but they didn't want to let go. Those on top in WCW didn't make room of the new blood until it was too late and Team Bella is in the same position now and they don't want to make room of the new blood. Brooklyn booed, but they should have done was chanted "Same Old Shit" because on that night last weeks in Barclay's we saw the same old shit. This isn't a revolution it's the same division just with some new faces.
