If you missed Raw on Monday and you don't know by now I will inform you that with Triple H's announcement on Monday the return of Tough Enough has been made official and the show will return on June 23. Though most would assume it would be featured on the WWE Network it actually will not be featured on the Network and will be featured on the USA Network every Monday Night, prior to Raw.
This years Tough Enough season will be different then the last time they re-launched the show as it seems like they maybe allowing for more fan involvement in the show, still unsure of the details on this aspect though so can't speak on it to much. Also it seems like they will be going back to the original format of the series with having One Man and One Woman win instead of just having one winner. The idea of having two winners, one man and one woman was only done once in the shows history and I believe it was for Season 1 which saw Maven Huffman & Nidia walk away the winners.
I love the idea of Tough Enough returning as it was my favorite show back in the day. As it provided evidence that just a nobody from off the street can enter a wrestling ring and be a wrestler, and that being a wrestler requires training before you can get in the ring to compete. I am also happy that it seems like they are going back to the old school way of declaring winners. Below are two of the audition tapes WWE has received from perspective contestants:
