Let me take you back to earlier in the year to be specific I am talking about the weeks leading into WrestleMania and the fact that one thing going on behind the scenes was on everyone's mind, and that was would Brock Lesnar resign. A few weeks before WrestleMania the answer to the question "Would Brock Lesnar" resign had been found as during an interview on ESPN, Brock announced that he has resigned with WWE for I believe either 2 or 3 more years. This in the process changes everyone's perception of the WrestleMania main event because now Brock isn't leaving.
But now around 5 months after Brock signed the contract details of the contract have seemingly found there way to the surface. The big detail I found is that WWE has paid Brock more money to work more matches then he had in his previous contract. In many ways this could in fact mean that Brock may actually started working some live events in the future. Which is actually the case as Brock is set to appear on the October 3rd, live event at MSG, the apparent plan is possibly make some house shows that Brock is featured turn into Live Network Specials sort of like Beast in the East.
Doing this is a great move by WWE to not only try and raise ticket sales for live events, but also to try and maximize Brock Lesnar's drawing power. However, this doesn't mean that Brock will begin to appear on television more which was proved earlier in the year when they "suspended" him until early July for his post WrestleMania actions. Brock Lesnar is the biggest drawing tool that the WWE has had in sometime and I hope they use him wisely. This new contract could help all parties involved gain tremendously from the agreement if it is done.
