Top 10 Wrestlers 2017: Eli Drake

Though a lot of fans really could have a tough time coming up with something good about the company that really struggled through 2017. From management issues to somewhat of a personality disorder with a variety of name changes during the year. However, not only did he take care of a tough match at the biggest event of the year & he was given the World title as I would think a thank you for his work during the year. The former WWE developmental star followed Ethan Carter to Impact Wrestling and has had pretty well the same amount of success as EC3 in the newly Canadian company. 

One of the main reasons why I think that Eli should be on this list is because of his work at Slammiversary against Moose & D'Angelo Williams. Yes that D'Angelo Williams! Also when the management change came to fruition it was Eli that stood up for the roster against the consistent bashing of the former management regime. The reason that Eli stood up for the roster is that he felt as though considering the shots at management some thought they were also taking shots at the talent roster. In my opinion based on his performance in the match against D'Angelo Williams and his leadership behind the camera that is why I chose to put Eli Drake on this list. 

​Though some fans might be hyper critical of this list and critical of who I place on this list. But that's part of the point, because I would hope that this list does inspire some questions and opinions as that is part of the fun with wrestling.
