On Tuesday, July 19 the landscape of pro-wrestling will change once again when the long time B show of the WWE Smackdown goes live on Tuesday nights on the USA Network. With this being the case it has lead to some to question if this means that Impact Wrestling will be switching days or moving from Tuesday to prevent "war" between Smackdown and TNA that may transpire. I am aware at this point the idea of being both a WWE & TNA may be foreign to someone you, but they do exist and they are called wrestling fans you know people who just like it because it's pro-wrestling.
I will say that in most every fascet of the sports and pop culture world the idea of competition is a good thing especially in pro-wrestling just look at the Monday Night Wars. I am not saying that seeing Smackdown and Impact go head to head on Tuesday nights will lead to another Monday Night Wars but what I am saying is that a new war doesn't have to happen on Monday. Last year we had 4 companies running their television shows on the same day in ROH, TNA, House of Hardcore, and NXT this would later bring the day to be called Wrestling Wednesday and fast forward a year we still have ROH, Lucha, NXT on Wednesday. But now TNA has jumped to Tuesday and will have a partner very soon as Smackdown will be heading to Tuesday nights on July 19. I honestly think this could be a good test for TNA and I hope that they are both ready for the test and excited about it cause I know I am.
The one stop shop for all things TNA Wrestling. At first you may not agree, but every now & again you might be surprised.
