This was one of those shows where it was a mixture of both good and bad things so let's focus on the good and ignore the bad. Impact has a hard time with not going to far with angles not really thinking about how difficult it would be to suspend our disbelief. Even though most wrestling companies don't focus on this aspect of wrestling anymore even though suspension of disbelief is still one of the most important parts of investing in wrestling. Admittedly, though the good parts of the show did overshadow the bad parts of the show making for a solid show.
The one part that I wanted to focus on is the continuation of Ace Austin vs Eddie Edwards feud mixing things up by bringing Alisha Edwards back in the feud, using his injury from last week as a source of pity. I said this last week that I hated this feud at first and things changed last week with them attempting to get sympathy for Ace after the injury. Now they are adding more depth to the feud as Ace is now looking like a devious heel looking to take advantage of the well meaning lady. I know that I am very interested in this feud, because when I can put aside the bad stuff and focus on the good that means they have my attention. Tessa vs Sami has my attention to, but since there really wasn't any major advancement for this feud on this show Austin vs Eddie got the focus.
The one stop shop for all things TNA Wrestling. At first you may not agree, but every now & again you might be surprised.
