Jeremy Borash Gone from Impact2/22/2018 It is extremely rare when you can say that a non-wrestler has stayed with a company for 16 years and it's especially rare to find someone that has been with a company for it's entire existence. Prior to late January of this year Jeremy Borash had remained the longest employed member of the Impact Wrestling roster. However, at this point after being apart of the announce team with Josh Mathews & The Pope for the last year or so he may have found greener pastures. Though in my opinion JB does have a lot of value to companies, but a lot of that value or most of it is backstage as I don't think he has what it takes to be an announcer. Also I don't think his new employer really needs any announcers at this point and time.
During his time in Impact JB has worked in every part of the company including writing, an agent, producer, social media, and an announcer. At one point JB had his own YouTube series on the Impact Wrestling channel and really was one of the focal points of Impact's social media presence and a major member of the backstage team. Though there are some mixed reports of his place on the writing team, but I do know that Jarrett & JB were friends and that points to his place on the team. JB was also one of the many writers that had a part in the Broken Universe during Matt's time in TNA along with Matt Conway and Billy Corgan. Now even though there is very little known about his position within the WWE it is clear that JB can do pretty much anything that is needed. In my opinion I think that the move of bringing JB abroad could be connected to Triple H getting more control within the company and though I am unsure where he will best fit I do think he will be down in NXT in some form at least to start. Either way it is kinda crazy to think that Jeremy not only is out of Impact but is also on the other side of things.
