Make an Impact: Sepetember 13 Edition9/15/2019 One thing that I haven't done in a very long time is talk about current Impact Wrestling. Even though I haven't always tuned in on Youtube or on Television I have been watching more since Don Callis & Scott D'Amore took over the direction of the company and they have straightened out Impact for the better. Overall if I could watch Impact I probably would but with the move to a new channel I don't currently get the channels, but that's why I love the fact that they do the highlights for each episode. Side note as I think it will continue to build for the next few weeks, but the return of Mahabli Shera was really put over by Josh Matthews as a big deal and the expansion of Gama Singh's group is a pleasant sight, because it's different. The two moments from Impact that I wanted to focus on first included a feud that I didn't really like or understand when I first saw it. However, now I get it and I like what Ace Austin and Eddie Edwards are doing together as the purpose the feud seems a little clearer now with it being similar to either respect must be earned type of thing or young vs old type of feud. I also feel like Eddie might be drifting either toward a heel or a tweener after the attack on Ace as it seemed like they were trying to get some sympathy on the youngster. The other part I wanted to mention was the main event which included Sami Callahan, Tessa Blanchard, Tommy Dreamer, and Jake Crist. I for one love the direction Impact has gone with Sami and think he is unlike anyone else in wrestling right now. As far as the brawl that ended the show I don't mind inter-gender wrestling as long as it is still believable once you loose the believably factor I checked out. I enjoyed the ending and like that you could feel the intensity. I hope for the best from Impact Wrestling especially with the wrestling war around the corner between WWE and AEW.
