Since Hard to Kill we have seen an invading faction of former Ring of Honor talent appearing in Impact Wrestling. The sight of Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Maria, Vincent, and PCO appearing on Impact television is something unexpected, but something is missing. If the OGK is suppose to be considered "invaders" then where is the security when these "invaders" appear where they aren't suppose to be. The length of time that it took for security to appear when the "invaders" are attacking an announcer.
Seeing them at Hard to Kill and there first appearance it was no surprising that it took security sometime to appear because of the shock and awe of the appearance of the "invaders." However, if the intention is to make these stars seem as though they don't belong there then the company should bring in more security and keep them on standby to allow for reality to take precedent. Hearing Scott D'Amore mention calling Baltimore to find out what exactly is going on shows that they are trying to make this seem as real as they can.
Using technology to make this "invasion" seem more on the real side of things phone cameras, social media, YouTube videos and the like are all ways to use technology to make this seem real. Filming in front of or in proximity to Sinclair Headquarters or Ring of Honor's Headquarters. Bring in Carey Silkin for a face to face with Scott D'Amore to add another layer to the "invasion." I do like the idea of having former Ring of Honor star appear in Impact as invading forces, but the only detail I have a gripe with is the lack of security when those invaders appear. It isn't a loss yet, but they need to change the small detail and if they do that then this could help bring some more positive headlines to Impact Wrestling and again find another way to keep the fans talking about Ring of Honor.
