Slammiversary Hype #47/3/2019 As the anniversary of Impact Wrestling draws closer and we continue to look back I've stumble upon a gem from what was a dark time in Impact Wrestling's past. For the most part 2009-2011 was a very unmemorable period of time in the world of wrestling expect for a few bright spots. One of those bright spots was Jay Lethal's feud with Fortune and specifically his impression of Ric Flair. In my opinion, there is nobody in wrestling that is better at impressions then Jay Lethal he's not only has the voice down, but had the mannerism down to a tee. The segment on the left took place during the feud and it led into the match on the right. Now there is no doubting that AJ Styles and Jay Lethal are two of the best wrestlers in the world to this day, but at this point Jay hadn't broken yet and AJ was still a step below the newest former WWE star in the company. Overall this should've been Jay's path to the main event and becoming a star in Impact Wrestling, but there was just more going on behind the camera then we knew for that to happen. Either way though both Jay & AJ put on display just how good they are why both men have become household names in the world of wrestling.
