State of TNA Address11/30/2016 I did this last week with the WWE and now it's time to keep moving forward with this concept and I will be covering two other companies along with TNA in the coming weeks so stay up for that. But right now we will be looking at the current state of TNA wrestling much like last week I will be looking at one thing they are doing well and one thing that they could be doing better. I know I seem very critical of TNA in videos but I really do like TNA and hope they succeed as a company for the sake of the business. I know some of you that are very against TNA at least point don't think they are doing anything well, but most of you who feel that way also haven't seen an episode of Impact in years. Things have gotten better on that front recently for TNA and that is what I am picking because it seems that over the last year or so TNA has really fallen back on Long Term Planning!!! I put so much emphasis on that phrase due to the fact that if there is anything that I push to much it is the importance of long term planning, because you can tell when a company doesn't bother to plan in advance and for the longest time that was TNA. But in a perfect example look at Matt Hardy and how he has changed since the beginning of his "Broken" gimmick; though I am not a fan of the gimmick he has done a pheonminal job of adapting and keeping the gimmick fresh. Also TNA has done a great job of investing in the gimmick and giving Matt the freedom to explore and make his own gimmick over the long term instead of rushing things. Where there is positives there are also negatives and I will not be taking a shot at TNA and instead I will be more or less pleading with them. One thing I never understood with this company is the lack of promotion they have and the lack pushing their talent in the mainstream. Now I know "Oh nobody wants a TNA guy because he isn't a known face." That's true most mainstream talk shows wouldn't be interested, but last time I checked their are other ways to get someones name out their in the public eye. For example, they still have Mike Tenay under contract with the company so why not put a familar face to good use and give him an interview space on Youtube where he can have sit down "shoot" interviews with talent as a way to get more eyes on people and create some character development. Because without depth to the characters they are all the same nobody is different or can be looked as different which is also a big problem for wrestling as a whole everyone looks to similar as far as there characters.
