My Top 5 Wrestlemania Matches2/24/2017 Recently, I decided to take advantage of the build up to Wrestlemania by sharing some of my favorite matches from Wrestlemania's past. With the show of show's coming up in around a month and a half I think it's time to share another match. The first match I shared is in many ways one of the greatest matches in the history of pro-wrestling that being Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage from Wrestlemania III. These matches are in no particular order as I think putting them in any particular order would be way to difficult of a task to complete. To keep moving forward I am looking at my next match which is on par with the last match as one of the greatest of all time. The match in question is Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25 which was the first time they meant at the show of shows.

Braun & The Streak2/21/2017 Over the last year the WWE have invested into a lot of new fresh talent to help with the lacking depth on the main event roster. Since the brand split back in July one name that has really taken to the spotlight is Braun Strowman. "The Monster Among Men" has been undefeated on Raw since they took the chains off of him and he has looked unstoppable. Normally the concept of the undefeated streak is either a hit or miss idea for bookers especially in the WWE with how spotty there booking has been in recent years. But the undefeated that Strowman has gone on has been beautifully done by the WWE as he has steamrolled just about everyone.
Recently, it seems the WWE is sold on the idea of Roman Reigns feuding with Braun Strowman before WrestleMania. In this feud I have feared that they would allow Roman to be the first name to beat Strowman which wouldn't help anyone. I know that eventually Braun does have to lose a match to someone which I agree maybe something that should happen sooner than later, but having Roman do it would be to Cena like. Roman Reigns shouldn't be the new age John Cena the WWE should be working to develop a new identity for Roman and having him defeat Braun will not help that. So you may ask what do I think should come of "The Streak" well I think that the WWE should allow a non Main Eventer to break the streak as a boost for a talent instead of just another unneeded achievement for Roman. It isn't that I have anything against Roman Reigns it is just that I feel someone who can gain something from ending Braun's streak should be someone who could gain something from it. For example, a guys like Cesaro, Sami Zayn, a call-up from NXT, or someone who isn't already established so more than one person can be made from ending the streak. My one hope is that if Braun does lose to Roman that this doesn't mean the end of Braun being someone to not just fear but also invest in as a top guy for the future.

Now with Teddy Long joining both Kurt Angle and the Rock and Roll Express going into the Hall of Fame this year we have seen another deserving name knocked off the board. But now I will beat the WWE to the punch as in recent years they have been inducting some International superstars like Inoki, Hansen, Abdulah, and Tatsumi Fujinami. The reason for me including both Hansen and Butcher here is because they had more Hall of Fame worthy careers in Japan then in the US and deserve to be honored.
One name that actually recently has been taking some more dates in the US and has actually spent a little time with WWE. That name is the legend himself Jushin "Thunder" Liger; now I know people will say that their are more deserving names, but if Butcher gets in based off Japan then Liger should to. Also what they could do is induct him and then have him feud with someone from the cruiserwieght division to add a little bit to the division. I know that inducting International stars is a touchy subject with some fans who think that people should only be inducted based on WWE impact and not overall. However, if the WWE wants to be a have an international presence I think it's necessary that they honor those who also had an impact on the wrestling business on an international level and that is why I do believe that Jushin "Thunder" Liger belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Elimination Chamber
Pre-Show: Curt Hawkins vs Mojo Rawley I think more people will miss this match rather than site there and watch so I wont waste my time giving a prediction on it. Apollo Crews and Kalisto vs Dolph Ziggler Really? Why not just have Ziggler vs Crews one on one instead of this match. I mean Kalisto has been made to look so weak in the feud already and a win tonight would make him look even weaker, because it makes him seem like he can only win with Apollo, but a loss for them tonight makes Apollo look weak. The problem with this is Ziggler also needs the win due to his momentum still not being fully back as of yet. I'm not really sure who will win or loss, if it was i'd go with a dusty finish so nobody looks weak but the finish has to be believed. Apollo & Kalisto win via DQ Becky Lynch vs Mickie James This has been an interesting feud partially due to the La Luchadora involvement and the intrigue it had to start the feud, but this is also testing the depth of the division as they are looking for 3 interesting women's feuds. With Wrestlemania slowly approaching the title matches are going to need to be made and tonight will put certain woman on one path or another. I honestly think that Mickie should win this match as there is still a month of TV left and they could keep running with the feud for right now. Nikki Bella vs Natalya It seems to me that the WWE has a bad habit of dragging out feuds that involve Nattie and Nikki as this isn't the first time either of these women were in feuds that should have ended a long time ago. Much like the pre-show match I don't think anyone really cares who will win this one. But if I had to pick I'd say Nattie. Tag Team Turmoil for the Tag Team Titles: Winners will be honestly I would love to see a surprise team get the win and take advantage of the type of match this is, but I'm not sure which team that'd be. With that being said I love this type of match, but I don't like it when it's predictable so I am going to pick The Vaudevillians to win this one. WWE Women's Title Match (c) Alexa Bliss vs Naomi Now I am going to keep this short because I already know who I think will win this match and I am going to give a reason why. See the WWE has a bad habit of making all of their heels seem very weak and unable to pick up clean wins. This is the reason why I think all heels will win the women's matches and why Alexa wins this, because at least when she does drop the title the heel side of the division will be strong and credible. Randy Orton vs Luke Harper I think this could be one of the better matches on the show and could actually be Luke's biggest test since joining the WWE. This could also be the toughest choice of the night as one way it would give someone deserving of a fair shot much needed momentum and the other way you just keep building up a proven veteran. I think I know the way the WWE will go and that is with Randy getting the win, but I kinda hope I am wrong. WWE Championship Elimination Chamber: (c) John Cena vs The Miz vs Bray Wyatt vs Baron Corbin vs (c) Dean Ambrose vs AJ Styles If Orton vs Harper isn't the match of the night then there is no doubt in my mind that this will steal the show tonight if not just for at least one or two surprise eliminations. I actually love this idea of having the World Champion defend the title only if he doesn't come out the winner. Also I would have preferred seeing AJ walk into the show as the champion just to give him two more weeks with the belt. This is the match that rumors have been flying about since Royal Rumble and for a good reason, because who ever wins will go against Randy at Wrestlemania. I'm going with the rumors and my selection to win is Bray Wyatt.

Cruiserweights Then and Now2/8/2017 An old series that I used to do a few months ago when the cruiserweight division first returned back to the WWE on the main roster. The cruiserweight division has been a big part of wrestling's past it doesn't matter if it was a considered a lightweight division or cruiserweight division some great talents had their start in the division. Now I know the best way to may be mix things up is by looking back at the light heavyweight division, but the WWE lightweight division was never really that good back in the day. So I will be heading back to the early days of the WCW division and not the Cruiserweight division but the lightweight division. At this point most if not all of those signed to be apart of the WWE's new cruiserweight division with the latest debut being Tozawa. But not to far back we saw the debut of the international import Mustafa Ali on 205 Live and then on Raw the following day. In the early days of the WCW they had some of the best in ring talents in the business at the time and these two were among the best in ring talents in the company at the time.

Recently the WWE announced their "meal ticket" for this years Hall of Fame class as Kurt Angle will be the major name getting inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. All the rumors for this years class as far as the bigger names to bring in the fans for the Hall of Fame event on the night before WrestleMania but the WWE came out of nowhere with the announcement of Angle getting inducted. With this induction Kurt becomes the second person to be inducted into both the WWE and TNA Hall of Fame's The reason I think that the announcement that Kurt Angle would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame was such a shock because I didn't see it coming. I imagined that either The Rock or Bill Goldberg would be the biggest names possibly to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. this year but WWE caught me off guard as I thought that Kurt would just be returning to the WWE for one more run in the ring for the company. For years fans have been hoping of a return the Olympic gold medal winner and now that he is back the questions aren't going to stop, like does this mean that Kurt will be wrestling again. However, the biggest reason why this was a shock was because I didn't think that Kurt would be inducted this soon also with other big names still to come it was definitely unexpected but I am happy to see that Kurt is back in the WWE either way.
