Kevin Owens Contract

9/21/2021

One thing that has picked up a lot of steam is that Kevin Owens will be leaving WWE once his contract expires early next year. A number of WWE stars have walked away from the promotion this year and moved to AEW aka greener pastures. In the past Kevin Owens had been in a dream stable with Adam Cole, and the Young Bucks specifically when the faction was in PWG years ago. At first my pan was to come up with an idea that in terms of booking would be something that Owens wouldn't be able to turn down.

However, the reality is that it needs to be more than just an idea that Owens can't say no to that would get him to stick around in WWE. Especially considering how appealing it likely would be for him to move on and give AEW a try. This isn't about coming up with one big idea as much as it is about coming up with a plan for the long term and prove to Kevin Owens that things will be different if he resigns. In a time when WWE needs to try harder then ever to reestablish some semblance of a foundation within the talent roster.

Mainly the reason why it doesn't matter if Kevin Owens is given a solid angle to get his teeth into is because one story doesn't change anything. One story doesn't change anything, because one story can be amazing then where to next. Kevin Owens needs more then one feud to put him in a position to succeed once again. Kevin is one of the most reliable members of the roster and needs to be treated more like a capable member of the roster. Remember every WWE star has a 90 day no compete clause and it's something that WWE should keep in mind and use it to there advantage if needed in the future for anyone including Kevin Owens.

Legends in the Doghouse

9/16/2021

It is clear that WWE has been struggling to compete against AEW and the recent momentum that the other company has been gaining in recent months. Recently both Mick Foley and Booker, T have expressed there opinions about the recent struggles the company has gone through. Foley saying that WWE isn't the place that young talent want to be anymore or strive to be anymore. Apparently, WWE doesn't take kindly to legends they've got under contract openly express negative comments about the promotion. Think about that for a second!! If you are an ambassador of WWE aka under a legends contract then you aren't allowed to openly be critical of the company.

Who knew WWE was now doing there best impression of how society is nowadays... easily offended and are making attempts to try and control what people you have under "contract" say in interviews or on social media then you fit this billed. WWE isn't able to stop legends like Mick Foley or Booker, T or anyone else from speaking the truth on social media or any other avenue they have to express an opinion based on facts. Instead of getting offended by the words these legends are saying why not bring them in and ask for help from them allow them to be helpful. These legends still do care about WWE and would do what they can to help rebuild the reputation and the image of the company they've called home for in some cases decades.

Right now there is no answer to explain away this issue, but all I can say is that Foley is completely right and Booker, T agrees with every word that Mick Foley said was right. Neither of these legends need WWE the company needs them a lot more. I've said this for the better part of the last year that WWE needs to have a week full of meetings to correct the direction of the promotion and plan out a possible direction for the company. Apparently after expressing a factual opinion about something that paints WWE in an unsavory position Mick Foley isn't on the best terms with his long term employer.

Remaking the YEar 2011

9/2/2021

As mentioned in the previous article we will be starting the night after Wrestlemania and heading to the end of December. Let's remake 2011 and the only way to do that is starting at square one rebuild Summerslam 2011 from scratch. We will be going show by show with the highlight points from each show being what is included. Bolded names are those who win and show the difference between PPV's and normal weekly programs.
April 4 2011: Michael Cole and Booker, T

Raw begins with The Miz and Alex Riley celebrating his win from last night at Wrestlemania 27 ignoring how the
win happened as it doesn't matter. All that matter is who is the champion now and then Miz asks Riley who that might be...
Riley answers well you are Miz, Miz responds exactly now we move on. This episode will help build toward May 1st, 2011 which will be
Extreme Rules. More of the matches for this show will be a number of rematches from Wrestlemania including CM Punk vs Randy Orton.
WWE Tag Champions Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel come up short against Morrison and R-Truth who are testing the waters of becoming a full
fledged team at this time. CM Punk threatens to force every member of the New Nexus to earn their spot not just on Raw, but in WWE.
Husky Harris challenges Randy Orton to prove himself to CM Punk tonight and Goldust looks to assist David Hart Smith as his tag partner and
mentor of sorts. The main part of Raw though this week is the two ending segments which include CM Punk attacking Randy Orton following Orton
defeating Husky Harris. The other segment is the announcement of John Cena vs The Rock at Wrestlemania 28 with The Miz watching a monitor in the
backstage area.

April 8 2011: Josh Matthews and Matt Striker
Smackdown this week is focused on Edge offically retiring from wrestling and being honored for the night offically vacating the WWE World Title.
This leaves a question of what will happen with the World Title and Teddy Long announces a small tournament to crown a new World Champion at
Extreme Rules in a few weeks. Also Vince McMahon has an announcement for Raw on Monday.

April 11 2011: Michael Cole alone
It is announced that Roddy Piper will become the Interim President of WWE taking over the general managers on a temporary basis. Jerry Lawler
will be on hiatus following his lose to Michael Cole at Wrestlemania. Cena tries to push The Miz into accepting a rematch for Extreme Rules
instead it seems The Miz might have an offer for John Cena which will find out in a week. Truth & Morrison net themselves a victory against
the young Uso's. Goldust continues to try and prepare DH Smith as his new partner. Orton fights another New Nexus member being Mason Ryan which
ends in DQ when other Nexus members interfere. Punk issues a challenge to Orton for Extreme Rules in three weeks.

April 15 2011: Josh Matthews and Matt Striker
A battle royal is held with the final four members of the match being placed in a fatal four way at Extreme Rules to crown the new WWE World
Champion. Christian, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, and Rey Mysterio are the final four moving them into the World Title match at Extreme Rules.
Hawkins and Tyler Reks quickly send away local stars before challenging the World Tag Champions Gabriel and Slater. Del Rio blames Teddy Long
for him being past over for the World Title chance and claims he's the reason Long isn't General Manager anymore. McIntyre appeals to Del Rio
setting up a possible partnership down the road between the two up and coming stars.

April 18 2011: Michael Cole & Byron Saxton
John Cena wants to know what The Miz's offer was and Miz explains that at Extreme Rules John Cena will earn his chance to fight Miz again by
having to defeat Alex Riley. Morrison accepts an open challenge issued by The Miz and actually pins the WWE Champion with a little help from
John Cena who is trying to get in the head of the WWE Champion. Setting up a match between Morrison and Miz for the WWE Championship. Roddy Piper
will have a sit down interview with Jim Ross next week to discuss the reason he chose to accept the offer to become WWE President once again.
Truth also comes up short against Heath Slater leaving a question about the tag title picture. Kofi Kingston wins a triple threat match against
Ted DiBiase and Chris Masters to earn a shot against Sheamus at Extreme Rules. Eve Torres announced to be appearing next week on Raw

April 22 2011: Josh Matthews & Matt Striker
Christian comes up short against Wade Barrett with the numbers game playing a part in the result of the content and Rey Mysterio getting his win
back against Cody continuing their never ending rivalry. McIntyre and Del Rio continue to develop a questionable friendship. Highlights of Tyson
Kidd against Trent Barretta from NXT this past Tuesday one of the underrated highlights of the week. Again Reks and Hawkins challenge the
Tag Team Champions for a match at Extreme Rules.

April 25 2011: Michael Cole and Byron Saxton
Eve Torres gets a victory against Alcia Fox but post match is jumped by Gail Kim who seems to be back with a vengence. Sheamus garners a victory
with Kofi on commentary ahead of their PPV contest. Orton, Santino and Kozlov headline against New Nexus with Orton side winning but Punk jumping
Orton again. Cena over performs against Goldust with respect showed at the end for the veteran almost proving a point to DH Smith who finally
is ready to go into a tag team again. Jim Ross sits down with Roddy Piper who explains that it's not just about bringing order back to WWE, but
also it's about giving back to wrestling in the best way he can.

April 29 2011: Josh Matthews & Matt Striker
Christian & Mysterio vs Barrett and Cody Rhodes ends up getting thrown out when all hell breaks lose at the end of the match causing confusion
and tensions to finally boil over. Kelly Kelly surprises Layala plantting the seeds for more issues with LayCool down the road. McIntyre and Del
Rio have a plan for tonight to keep the attention off Sunday and on them like it should. Jack Swagger falls victim to a quick cradle from Yoshi
Tatsu and Tyson Kidd vs Trent Barretta fight to a time limit draw giving fans a taste of the action.

It is announced that Jerry Lawler will be returning next week for the first time since Wrestlemania. After defeating Alex Riley at Extreme Rules
now Cena will get his rematch at Over the Limit on May 22 much to the disappointment of The Miz. Miz wants the attention of WWE President Roddy
Piper to get out of the match, but also has to worry about fighting Morrison for the World Title next week. Sheamus rematch against Kofi Kingston
for the United States title which Kofi retains. Goldust and DH Smith come up short against The Uso's thanks to Tamina helping her team get the
win. Punk stands with Mason Ryan and Derrick Bateman introducing his new faction claiming that the one mistake he made was not starting over
when he took control of the Nexus.

May 6 2011: Josh Matthews & Matt Striker
Rey Mysterio is introduced as the New World Champion after winning the fatal four way at Extreme Rules. This decision allows for more options
for fresh matches including a final match between Mysterio and Cody which is where we will go first. Piper greets Del Rio & McIntyre with an
offer to become a tag team instead of continuing to whine. They will fight the best team Piper can come up with on May 22 at Over the Limit.
Del Rio and McIntyre agree! Christian in the Main Event against Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Title which the numbers overwhelm
Christian allowing the champion to retain. Over the Limit for the World Title one final match Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes 2 out of 3 falls.
