PPV Predictions: Survivor Series 201711/19/2017 Survivor Series 2017
Pre-Show: (c) Enzo Amore vs Kalisto The Miz vs Baron Corbin Though I don't think this match will open as this is by far will be the weakest match on the card couldn't open. Miz & Corbin are talented but I don't really think that Corbin is ready to carry the any match. Then again I just don't really have much faith in Corbin's in ring skills. Miz can carry anyone on the microphone, but really needs to prove that he can really carry a match. If I had to pick Miz needs to win this match. Charlotte vs Alexa Bliss Once again champion vs champion and one that has changed within the last week. Prior to the go home show Nattie was the SD Live Woman's Champion, but dropped the title last week to Charlotte. I will admit that I am a lot more excited about this over Alexa vs Nattie and not just because of it not being another heel vs heel match. However, with my choice in the first match I've chosen Alexa winning this one to keep things balanced. The Bar vs The Usos Another champion vs champion match between the brands as the tag team champions collide for the first time. This may be the first time that these two teams will be able to attempt to tear down the house. The last few months the tag division has been ran by The Usos and The Bar as these two are incredible talents. This is by far the toughest choice as I'm not sure who could get the win in this match. The Bar I do think will get the win. Raw's vs Smackdown Traditional Survivor Series Female Match Hopefully this will go better than the last multi-female match that took place which was pretty much an unneeded clusterf****. However, a lot of rumors have been running around that a big return may happen this Sunday with a new addition to Team Raw. It's been over a year since Paige has graced the WWE TV and to finally here that she could be back is amazing. With this being said I think that Team Raw will be the victorious team tonight. The Shield vs New Day Honestly, I don't think that anyone excepted that this match would've taken place due to circumstances outside of control. But with Roman Reigns returning it really became a reality and this match has all the makings of being an amazing match and one of the best 6 man matches in a long time. Though this match may have very little implication on the future other than providing some sort of bragging rights (no pun intended). Considering this is the first major match for The Shield and that New Day are bulletproof I think that The Shield get the win. Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match (Male) There have been a lot of talk and discussion in the online world as most fans think that this match will end in any other way then clean. Even though the choice to include Jason Jordan was questionable at first, but after Raw last week the reason became clearer and seems to be building somewhere. Keeping the replacement in mind there is a tremendous amount of star power in this match with Triple H, Randy Orton, Shane, Kurt, and others to make it feel like 10 years ago. After the events of last week I think that Team Smackdown will get the big win tonight. Champion vs Champion (c) AJ Styles vs (c) Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman If there is anyone on the WWE Roster that could get not just a good match out of Brock Lesnar, but a different match out of him it would be AJ Styles. I was extremely happy that Jinder did end up dropping the title I just wish it was under the circumstances it was because no matter how lackluster his run got there is no way I could've wanted Jinder to get hurt. I know a lot of us have both thought and wondered how many times the idea words "I never thought this match would happen" could be said. This match is absolutely one of those matches that I never thought could or would happen especially with both men holding the World Title at the same time. Both guys are very skilled in the ring and can have a great match, but I don't see this match going any other way over Brock Lesnar getting another victory.

205 Live Update11/15/2017 Over the last few months it seems as though the WWE has finally noticed what the fans have known for months and that is nobody really cares about 205 Live. Which means that the WWE has to actually do things that make fans want to watch 205 Live and find some way to create interest. The problem is though it seems like for every step forward they fall back like having Enzo join the cruiserweights they end up losing a name like Neville. Truth be told I don't think that overhauling the division wouldn't be a bad idea.
Recent news point to the possibility of a former X-Division champion joining the WWE's cruiserweight division. The more established names they can have in the division would help the division tremendously as it could help establish the lesser known talent. Spud is officially done with Impact Wrestling as of last week and their have been rumors of him signing with WWE for months and now things seem more likely. Admittedly, seeing Spud in WWE would be interesting to see if he can feud with Jack Gallagher as they both had similar acts. The other name that the WWE has been "talking" about bringing Hideo Itami to the main roster for the division as well. Hideo has been rocking down in NXT since he finally was able to return to developmental and "knock on wood" he has been able to stay healthy. Though I will say that it would be extremely strange to see Hideo on the main roster after all his years of struggling. But also the idea of this giving the WWE some actually good depth in the division would be very nice to see.

The Chris Benoit Question11/11/2017 Every year when we enter Wrestlemania season fans also always begin to speak of the Hall of Fame who they believe should be inducted in the accompanying years class and who shouldn't. This allows for a tremendous amount of debate and also leaves interest in the Hall of Fame at a high in the beginning and depending on the class it could not subside. But one name a lot of fans have questioned his ability to be inducted into the Hall of Fame is Chris Benoit. Now there isn't a fan in the wrestling world that doesn't know what Benoit did and how his life ended. However, in one fell swoop any hope of him being inducted went away on that day too.
The reason for this is imagine close your eyes and imagine the announcement coming down on WWE TV that Chris Benoit will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Now imagine how much of a field day that the mainstream media will have with the idea that the WWE is inducting a suspected murder into their Hall of Fame. I know that Benoit does deserve to be a Hall of Famer due to his accomplishments in the ring and if we could split his life in the ring and out of it I think he'd be in already, but doing that isn't possible. Fact is a Benoit induction would be a media nightmare for the WWE and would overshadow an event that is suppose to be a joyous occasion to honor the legends on yesteryear. Overall, I think Benoit being in a class would be a bad idea, but I wonder if they could get around inducting him by inducting the Pegasus Kid instead. Chris should be a Hall of Famer, but in the end due to the media's interest in bad news over real news and mainstream outlets salivating tearing down reputable companies for one mistake; I honestly don't think Benoit will ever be in the Hall of Fame.

Why Losing Now Wouldn't Hinder Jinder11/6/2017 This year has been the year of surprises with the WWE Championship changes as Bray Wyatt shocked the world by winning the gold at Elimination Chamber, but lost it in 2 months. Then Randy Orton would suffer the most shocking defeat of his career when he lost to Jinder Mahal at Backlash which allowed Jinder to become WWE Champion. This is something that WWE hasn't done in many years and in some cases it left fans both angry and puzzled at the same time.
At first I thought it was a pleasant surprise to see Jinder become WWE Champion and I was one the people complaining more about the booking then the fact that he won. I didn't mind the idea of Jinder being champion as long as once he dropped the belt he would remain in the Main Event scene and just fall back down like Sheamus. His current feud with AJ Styles is now the real test for Jinder as a top guy, because AJ is good enough to work with anyone. I wouldn't mind Jinder maybe getting a tag win over AJ at this point just to give him a win to brag about in the build to a singles match. However, I think at this point it might be time to decide when Jinder's run should come to a close. At this point Smackdown does have the last PPV of 2017 for the WWE so it would be possible to see AJ end 2017 with the WWE title or maybe hold the switch off until Royal Rumble. Overall I think if Jinder did loose the title to AJ that it wouldn't hurt Jinder and it might actually help him as I think dropping the gold before fans resent him should be on WWE's mind as Mania approaches. This is why I don't think losing now would really "Hinder" Jinder.

Hall of Recap: Shawn Michaels11/1/2017 You got it another new series is about the begin. Recently I sent out a tweet about a current fan interaction series feeding into other things and me setting things up for the back half of the year. This series is to begin the build to the 2018 Hall of Fame talks and not just the WWE class, but also the Wrestling Express Hall of Fame class for next year as well. I thought about it and looking back at some past inductees from the various Hall of Fames including Impact Wrestling. In my book there is no better choice to kick this series off with other than "Mr. WrestleMania" Shawn Michaels. The "Heartbreak Kid" would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as the class headliner in 2011 after losing a retirement match to The Undertaker at the previous years WrestleMania. Most fans were surprised to see the WWE picked Shawn to headline the class after his retirement match, but the best way to look at this is that Shawn is similar to a first ballot Hall of Famer getting inducted the first chance he can be. Yes it was likely more desperate plea to gain interest from WWE, but still. At this point I would go over the Hall of Fame credentials of the man himself, but I don't think that fans need to be reminded of the accomplishments that HBK mounted during his career. With that being said check out some matches from Shawn's career:
