I thought that it would be fitting to continue the discussion about the creative reset the WWE is currently going through at this point. For the first time that I remember the WWE actually admitted they did something wrong and will begin to start fixing the problems facing the current product. Though nothing will change for the foreseeable future and it will likely be a progression after time. Now I would like to point out that in recent weeks Smackdown Live has been much better then Raw has been in recent weeks.
In recent weeks we have been wondering when the company fix issues that have been plaguing programming, but Smackdown Live has different problems then Raw. One of the main problems that has been hurting Smackdown is the overuse of the tag team division. In recent months the tag team division on Smackdown has really consisted of only three teams that being The Bar, The Uso's and New Day which caused things to get very stale on Tuesday Nights. It is extremely puzzling to think that they have really been ignoring the likes of Anderson & Gallows, Sanity, and even The Colon's for the last few months to focus on just those teams mentioned earlier.
However, with the return of both Anderson & Gallows and Sanity this week it seems like some fresh teams might be entering the title picture. As I mentioned in the predictions for TLC it'd be the best idea to give The Bar a decent run with the gold and have them collide some fresh talent instead of The Uso's or New Day.
Overall though seeing Mustafa Ali arrive on Smackdown entering into a feud seemingly with Daniel Bryan is amazing as Ali is one of the most underrated talents in the company. With the spotlight that the WWE has been giving to the cruiserweight division this year has increased the status of the extremely talented lightweights that didn't really have a place in the company this time last year. The one thing I don't understand is exactly why they chose to move Ali over to the blue brand. I do like the idea of giving some crusierweights the opportunity to stick out like they are doing with Ali and maybe will do more depending on how this experiment goes.
