Big Show Update

According to a recent interview it seems like Big Show will be hanging up the boots within the next year or so. He likely has a little less than a year and that this WrestleMania will likely be his last one, this is very unfortunate because of how badly this year went for him. Following a poor showing at WrestleMania in the Battle Royal and after his match with Shaq was cancelled.

​Even though, his career has been anything but stable and logical as he never really got a big run as a monster and was more less looked at as a joke. From the start of his career he has always been very athletic and unlike most giants of the past. There is no doubt that Big Show has had an incredible Hall of Fame worthy career just including his time in the WWE. Show has been a part of a number of great moments with the company and has had some memorable matches, but I think it has reached the time for him to walk away.

​In my opinion their always comes a time when a wrestler needs to hang things up and retire especially if they can walk away on their own, because in pro-wrestling talent can't always chose when they walk away. Recently we have seen some legends hang up the boots and the list continues to grow with other veteran likely set to retire within the next couple of years. Though I would have thought that either Mark Henry or Kane would have retired first it doesn't look that way or at least from what the news stories have told us. Big Show seems to be the next name to join The Undertaker as he seems to be hanging up the boots at some point his year which likely means his contract will expire at a later point in this year. At this point the only thing we can do is wait and see what happens.
