Breaking Bron

Recently, NXT went through a rebranding after upper management in WWE decided that they had a problem with the idea of NXT moving off Wednesday leaving the Wednesday night war. Last month, WWE released a number of NXT talent leaving a number of wholes on the roster. However, the amount of wrestlers the company had on the side that hadn't been assigned just yet, but a number of previously unassigned now is getting television time.

One of the stars that have been sticking out since the start of NXT 2.0 has been Bron Breaker who is clearly got someone in management behind him. Breaker has a background in amateur wrestling like his father and uncle winning a state championship and had a short lived career within the NFL signing with the Baltimore Ravens in April 2020 and would be let go in August 2020. Breaker would sign with WWE in early 2021 and would start at the Performance Center, and must've impressed someone to be on television and in line for a push this quickly.

In my opinion, listen to him speak and you can hear from the sound of his voice who exactly he's related to and it is understandable why they don't want people making the connection. Sometimes it's easier to make a new legacy for second generation stars when they don't have the shadow of famous relatives. Breaker seems to be a promising young star with a tremendous amount of potential and someone that WWE wants to strap a rocket to for the future. At 23 years old though, I don't think that WWE needs to rush to put him in the Main Event picture and they especially shouldn't rush him to the main roster. Allow him time to develop and get himself an identity then it would be time to move him forward.

By this time next year we will be talking about when Bron Breaker will be NXT World Champion, but right now I believe his eyes should be on the North American championship instead as WWE should bring him along slowly. WWE is in position where they don't need to rush someone up the card especially someone who may still be inexperienced and some time to gain more experience and seasoning within the squared circle. Bron Breaker will be a star in a couple of years though and headline Wrestlemania as long as they stick with the long term planning and don't rush forward before they should.
