IC Hero's Part 5: Randy Savage

For the early years of the Intercontinental championship it was known as a building block title as it would be the step that most future World Champions would take to reach the pinnacle of the profession. But it was also the title that the company work horses won like Pedro Moreals, Steamboat, Valentine, Savage, etc. In more recent years things have changed for the title and not really in a good way, I will say though that recently they seem to be treding back toward making the title me something just with the help of one man.

​Even with one title reign as champion he held the title for well over a year and tore down the house everytime he was in the ring. With feuds against talent like Ricky Steamboat, Honky Tonk Man, Santana, and others it is no wonder why his matches are stuff of legend and he is considered of the greatest of all time.
