Match of the Week: CM Punk vs Ryback vs John Cena

Back again after a short break with this series where I grab random matches from around the inter-webs. With Survivor Series right around the corner I thought it would be the perfect time to bring the series back looking for one of the many great matches from the past 29 years of Survivor Series.

Though most remember this match for being one of Punk's early defenses in the early days of his record breaking reign as WWE Champion. But that isn't the only reason people remember this match because it was at Survivor Series 2012 that three future WWE Champions made their main roster debuts with the company. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose collectively known as The Shield interrupted the main event to attack Ryback. The "Hounds of Justice" made their debuts and as they say the rest is history.
