PPV Predictions: Elimination Chamber2/25/2018 Elimination Chamber 2018
Pre-Show: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs Miztourage Raw Tag Team Championship Match: (c) The Bar vs Titus Worldwide With the injury to Jason Jordan becoming pretty serious were he has to miss time it became pretty clear that the Raw tag division has become insanely weak. Looking at things there is no reason that Titus Worldwide shouldn't have been in the title match at the Rumble following their wins over The Bar in January. However, one on one the result doesn't change as The Bar will likely be the team carrying the titles into Wrestlemania this year with a win tonight. Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt I am going to keep this short as this feud has really lost a step since their weak match at Raw 25. I still am a big fan of both these men, but neither have very high momentum and both need to start building it as such. With that being said I think the best way to go is to have Matt Hardy win this match since his move to broken is still very new. Asuka vs Nia Jax Even with this strange stipulation the build for this match has been alright at best and though it might have been better then the actual Chamber match, that doesn't say much. Though this has happened a few times most notably in 2006 with Rey Mysterio & Randy Orton at No Way Out. However, comparing both Asuka & Rey Mysterio's booking and it is clear that Asuka is in a better place then Rey was at the time. Which also makes this match a little predictable due to the idea that I don't see Asuka losing such an important match this close to Mania. Women's Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Sasha Banks vs Bayley vs Mickie James vs Alexa Bliss vs Mandy Rose vs Sonya Deville The build up to this match has been absolutely terrible and felt like they were building up two separate matches as opposed to one big match. It has felt like Banks was facing Bayley & James/Bliss was against Absolution which really puts a damper on the match. Even though some might say it adds to the match giving it some built in stories I don't know that they shouldn't have built the first Chamber match differently. Looking at it I think that it is possible that Bliss retains and that's actually what I am going with due to not really seeing anyone else with the belt. #1 Contender Elimination Chamber Match: Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman vs The Miz vs Finn Balor vs John Cena vs Seth Rollins vs Elias This match on paper looks like it's going to be a cluster**** due to the amount of people that will be in the match and it looks like WWE tried to force to many into the match. It is possible that the WWE tried to put so many into the match to try and throw off the fans predictions and thinking that Roman will definitely win. With that being said and looking at how they built up Rollins & how strong Braun has been booked it feels like they are more prepared for after Mania then changing plans. I am going with the predictable finish that being Roman getting the shot to face Brock and likely getting booed out of the building because of it.
