Hell in a Cell 2017
Pre-Show: Hype Bros vs Gable & Benjamin Randy Orton vs Rusev For months I have heard from Simon Miller how good Rusev is and I am finally starting to come around to the idea that maybe Rusev could be returned to his former glory as the "Bulgarian Brute." A few months ago the idea of both Lana & Rusev heading for the door like a close reality but things seem to have cooled down recently. However, I think Rusev needs the win here to really start helping him move forward and come close to his potential. Dolph Ziggler vs Bobby Roode This one is going to be short and I don't mean the match, but I just don't have much to say as I do think Ziggler has gotten to fans interest in recent months with his new gimmick but it hasn't been enough. I also think that this match can only go one way without certain fans calling a burial due to how one of the challengers have been booked. With that being said Roode gets the win sadly even though Ziggler deserves it more. Women's Championship Match: (c) Natalya vs Charlotte These two have fought a number of times in the past and have very rarely disappointed with their chemistry and in ring ability. Tonight will be no different as they will put on a display unlike something we have seen from the Smackdown division in a while. However, I do believe that Nattie will loose her reign as champion as the WWE could be trying to shake things up. Charlotte gets the win tonight to start leading the Smackdown Live division. WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Hell in a Cell (c) New Day vs The Usos This feud has been dare I say incredible as both teams have been on the ball for the last few months and doing their best work. This feud alone is enough to show the exact reason that moving The New Day to Smackdown was a great idea. However, this feud is wearing thin and it might be time to move forward with someone new. The only question is well who wins the feud? I think that New Day gets the W tonight in Hell in a Cell. WWE United States Championship Match: (c) AJ Styles vs Baron Corbin vs Tye Dillenger The late addition of Tye makes it clear that they are doing it as a way to protect the loser due to how poorly Baron has been booked recently. Comparing Baron to say Rusev makes Rusev look like Braun. However, I think that this is also a perfect way to get the belt off of AJ without much distress and move AJ up the card to the World title. With that being said I think Corbin's time in the dog house is done and he will get the win. WWE Championship Match: (c) Jinder Mahal vs Shinsuke Nakamura I wrote when they first fought at Summerslam that I never thought I would see Nakamura challenging for the WWE title let alone against Jinder, Though I think Jinder has done alright as champion I still can't get off the idea that the build could've been 100x's better then it was. I don't mean just to his title win either as the build to the match tonight has absolutely sucked. Keeping in mind about the India tour I don't think the WWE can keep the belt on Jinder too much longer. With that being said Nakamura will become WWE Champion tonight. Hell in a Cell Match Shane McMahon vs Kevin Owens This has been 5 months in the making and has been built up amazingly especially with Kevin's interaction with Vince. Though I am one for the WWE title always main eventing this is one of the special circumstances that it doesn't need to be the headline. Shane and Kevin have alright chemistry and even though I hate the concept of this PPV I think it does fit this match to a tee. Also this is one of the few matches I actually want to see tonight and will love to see Kevin Owens get the win tonight.
